The chipmaker projected robust demand for its next-generation processors and highlighted new partnerships with regional automakers, boosting investor sentiment across the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Korea\u2019s SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics surged more than 3% and 4%, respectively, after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang forecast that orders for its Blackwell and Vera Rubin chips could total $1 trillion by 2027. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world\u2019s largest contract chipmaker, also edged up around 1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Automakers joined the rally after Nvidia confirmed collaborations in autonomous vehicle development with companies including Hyundai Motor, Nissan Motor, Isuzu, China\u2019s BYD, and Geely. Hyundai rose nearly 5%, while Geely gained about 5%, with other automakers posting moderate increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regional markets broadly advanced. Japan\u2019s Nikkei 225 climbed 0.75%, while the Topix gained over 1%.
